Photography and Filming Policy

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety and privacy of our junior football club members while allowing for the promotion and coaching benefits of filming and photography.

Consent

By registering with our club, parents and guardians consent to their children being filmed and photographed during club activities for the purposes of:

• Social Media: Images and videos may be shared on the club’s official social media accounts and website to promote events, achievements, and activities.
• Coaching: Footage may be used by coaches to review performance and provide feedback to improve player skills and development.

Guidelines

• Usage: Images and videos will only be used in a positive and respectful manner, focusing on the children's participation and achievements.
• Privacy: Personal information such as full names, addresses, or contact details will not be disclosed alongside images or videos.
• Opt-Out: Parents and guardians have the right to opt-out at any time by notifying the club in writing. In such cases, efforts will be made to exclude their children from photographs and videos.
• Third-Party Access: Any third-party requests for images or videos will be reviewed by the club’s committee to ensure compliance with this policy.

Distribution

Images and videos may be distributed through:

• Official club social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
• The club’s official website
• Internal coaching materials

Security

All images and videos will be stored securely and accessed only by authorized club personnel for the purposes outlined in this policy.

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness and to make any necessary updates based on feedback and changes in regulations.
